Still here, still pregnant, still doing well
Just not sleeping much.
I've been meaning to update but seriously people, I don't have much to talk about besides babies, huge gargantuan construction projects that I'm not allowed to help with, back to school, etc. etc..
Had my last appointment with the hypertension specialist in Seattle and I've been cleared from his care, or at least monthly appointments. I'm now going to my doctor weekly for NST's and all the other good stuff. I'm hoping that my c-section will be scheduled soon as the specialist mentioned that they would probably do an amnio at 36.5 weeks or so to check for lung maturity and if everything checked out, they'd declare victory and take Bert at 37 weeks. So, we'll see how it all plays out. I'll be 33 weeks tomorrow, so that only leaves four weeks (*gulp*). Guess I should go buy him a car seat or something.
OH shoot, Darsie totally turned five! We had a little family party for her with the biggest pinata known to mankind, serious. Walmart doesn't kid around with their pinatas. She loved her party but was disappointed that her cake didn't have pink frosting. The little things in life, right?

I am glad you are still doing well (and pregnant). I have just over 8 weeks to go, and that seems so quick yet so far away...
And I think her cake was very pretty. She should have mentioned her desire for PINK frosting early. But, what can you expect from a 5 year old?
Oh I'm so glad to see an update! I've been thinking of you. And I'm so happy that little boy is still healthy and tucked inside you! Way to go, mama. (Not that there's really much you can do besides listen to your doctor, hope and pray, but still...)
Congrats, and I hope you make it all the way to 37!
*I* like her cake! It's so cute!
Glad to hear how you're doing.
It was nice to see you post again. Glad that you and the baby are doing well. And Happy Belated Birthday to Darsie. It looks like a great birthday for her.
Well, Miss Darsie is looking fabulous as always. I'm glad Bert is still hangin' ten and doing well.
Personally, I'd read a blog entry on any of those topics!
Hi there, I was looking for information about kids with CP. I came across your blog. My 22 month old son, Quinn, was seen by the orthopedic doctor yesterday, and botox and serial casting was recommened, he has to have both feet done.
It is all abit overwhelming. Do you think after the six months since your little girl had it done it was worth it?
If you could email me pmheald@xtra.co.nz with any helpful suggestions I would really appreciate it.
By the way your girls are beautiful.
Happy birthday, Miss Darsie! Wow! 5 already!!!
I am so happy to hear that your pregnancy is going smoothly! Hooray! :) Can't wait to see the little guy in pictures!
I know this may not be the right blog post to tell you this, but I was looking at a video of youtube about CP, and they used a picture of Elise in their video...I just wanted to let you know in case you weren't aware. You may want to block ridght-clicking on your blog so nobody can take your pictures. Here is the video, and her picture shows up around 27 seconds:

Oh yay, 33 weeks! I remember when I was expecting the twins, the OB told me that 34 weeks was The Magic Week---the week after which there were so few problems associated with premature birth, OBs barely worried anymore. So I've been waiting and waiting for you to get to 34 weeks, and now you're almost there!
Thanks everyone! We are thrilled as punch.
Thanks for the warning about D's picture. I flagged it and the video was removed. I mean seriously, how hard is it to ask permission these days? Ridiculous!
No problem :) I know, it's crazy! I have seen people start a blog of their own, with other peoples kids' (mostly preemie) pictures, to get gifts and money! That's why it's a good idea to make sure your blog can't be right clicked.
