A New Hair-Do

D doesn't look too thrilled with her fabulous new hair style, does she?

On another hair note. D still has what I believe to be cradle cap at 19 months old. Either that or she has an extremely greasy scalp because I'm still peeling greasy "scabs" off of her head. It seems like it got better and then is now back again. Any suggestions???

Holland has really dry skin, rather than greasy, so I am not sure if this will work for you, but what worked for her was Neutrogena T-Gel shampoo everday in her bath, followed by a thorough combing with a fine tooth comb. I often even combed the shampoo through her hair in the bath, and let it set for a few minutes.

Alexa had wicked cradle cap as a newborn, and still occasionally gets scabs. There is a product out there by johnson and johnson or gerber that's targetted for cradle cap which we used at the time. Now we just use baby oil or olive oil before bath time to soften things up and then regular shampoo. If things are really bad then we use regular dandruff shampoo (ped said that it was ok after she was 6 months old) but watch out for anything getting in her eyes. HTH
