She's here and I'm home!

Elise was born on the 29th at approximately 8:32 in the morning. She weighs 3lbs. 7 oz. at just one day shy of 34 weeks..so small but she is very healthy! She is on a nasal cannula but on room oxygen. She is under the bili lights, but holding her own temp and blood sugar levels. She was transferred to a different hospital, so I only got to see her for a few moments on Sunday but will get to go to the hospital and see her tomorrow. More updates then!

Now for a few photos:

Oh, wow! Not how you wanted things to go, I'm sure, but still, sounds like things went ok. I'm thinking of you, and hoping your new little girl is home soon!

Best of luck, and congratulations!

I love Elsies expression in the one picture! She looks like she's a fighter and is ready be here with her sister! I hope and pray for a short NICU stay this go around.

Shannon, she is BEAUTIFUL! I am glad you both are doing so well. It is wonderful that she is able to hold her own temperature--impressive for such a little one! Just like her sister, she sure is a fighter! Congrats!

Hey Shannon.

Congratulations!!!

Long time no speak.

I haven't been blogging properly for a few weeks, so only just picked this up.

So glad everything is going to plan. May the stay in NICU be a short one ... best wishes to you all.

Steve.
