So, lemonade...
After fixing everything on the machine that I thought could be fixed, I stumbled upon a web site that talks about the bottom thread tension (which is where I was skipping stitches). ANYWAYS, long story short and word of the wise for any other sewers out there, the bottom tension can be adjusted on the BOBBIN. There is a screw on in it and for tighter tension, turn the screw to the right, and vice versus for looser. So far it is looks promising and I haven't encountered any loose stitches again.
It is just like me to complain about something and then fix it two seconds later. Don't I feel like a doofus. I do appreciate everyone's sweet words of encouragement. Even if the machine is kaput, it is a minute thing in the course of my life.
I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.

Good. You have a nice weekend too.
Yay! Except, no shopping now. Boo.
I'm glad it's fixed. I'm one of those who feels a pit off if I don't get in some kind of creative thing during the course of the day.
