Back in the hospital...

BUT, it is a good thing. I'm rooming in with Elise tonight because she is coming home tomorrow (barring unforseen circumstances of course). She passed her car seat test this afternoon and I am caught up on CPR (2 breaths to 30 compressions if you haven't done it recently!). Now I just have to keep her alive tonight (well, mainly eating) and then we get to take her home tomorrow! I can't believe it and Jeff is sooooo excited! I will have to get a photo of her in her car seat because she is so tiny! We thought Darsie was little when we brought her home (almost 5 pounds) but Elise is only 3 pounds 12 ounces!!!

I'll update with photos tomorrow once we get home and settled.

Oh, this is so exciting! It's strange to think of her being so very tiny: I buy PRODUCE that weighs more than that! It would be fun to take lots of photos of her next to other things for scale: a pineapple, a stuffed animal, a daddy shoe, etc.

Now that is one of the best reasons I can think of for being back in the hospital! :)

Your girls are just beautiful! I bet Darsie is so excited, knowing that her little sister is coming home soon...

Happy-soon-to-be-homecoming!

Congrats! Can't wait to see pics of her at home.

3 lbs 12 ounces...geez that is tiny! I bet she'll start packing on the pounds once you get her home.

Best wishes!
Billie
