March for Babies

I just received a great e-mail from Sarah over at Mommy Daisy. She is upping the ante on the March of Dimes raffle that I will be holding on May 2nd when I walk in the March for Babies event in Silverdale, WA. Sarah is offering up a hand crocheted baby blanket (photos soon, she sent some and it is gooorgeous!!!!) It is in white, sage green, and butter yellow, so totally gender neutral. Believe me, you will want it.

So, if you want to enter, for every dollar that you donate to the March of Dimes, you will receive one chance/ticket in my raffle. You can donate as little as $1. Remember, every dollar gives you one chance, so $1 = 1 chance and $10 = 10 chances, etc. etc. Just send me a copy of your donation receipt and I will mark you down on my spreadsheet.

Prizes to date are either a handbag (fabrics may vary, I will discuss with winner) or a baby quilt (color theme picked by winner) made by me and a hand crocheted baby blanket by Sarah. This means that there will be TWO winners.

Now, I have to go corral the babe that has learned how to take her shirt off. Take care everybody!

Thanks for the compliments. I'm glad to be donating it to a good cause. It's so warm and fuzzy, and will be a great blanket for a newborn baby or a gift to an expecting mom. I should be finished this weekend, so I'll send a photo again when I'm done. Thank you.

Thanks for reminding me about this great event, just donated (oops, not sure about a receipt—maybe they will email me one). Daisy, can't wait to see the finished blanket!
