Starting a New Therapy on Monday!

D is going to start hydrotherapy at Hollyridge in their saltwater therapy pool. I'm not really sure all that it entails, but Diane said that it will be great for both sensory and motor. I'm excited to find out more about it and see how D will respond. Luckily the water is kept pretty warm because D didn't do so hot when we tried swim lessons due to the temp of the water.

So, keep your fingers crossed on monday!

Good luck with the new therapy! You'll find hydrotherapy most beneficial. :)

Wow what a story, you are a strong person. But I guess our children brings that out in us. I can never grasp a slight understanding as to why mothers hurt/kill their babies. Anyway I was wanting your opinion..my baby was born 12/05/07 at exactly 2lbs and with COPD and RSP. She has just now started crawling (at 13 months) but for a couple months before she wasn't using her left arm. Now she seems to be using it. She doesn't talk just screams and laughs. She also (like in your blog)all of a sudden started waking up at 2-3am and staying awake for about an hour. She still can not pick up small things with two fingers. Do you think these might be signs of CP? Whatever you tell me I won't hold it against you in any way. My doctor and ECI just say she has developmental delay. I can't get a shoe on either of her feet. Seems like the top of her foot is really fat/tall. No matter the size it doesn't fit. I didn't see a place to leave my email so here it is if you get the chance to email me back....
